ORI GRAD – MANAGING DIRECTOR & BROKER
A former student of George Brown College’s famed Culinary Arts program, Ori Grad’s first exposure to the hospitality industry was in the kitchen restaurants of Vancouver and Toronto. With his omnipresent sense of adventure and insatiable thirst for knowledge, he returned to his native Toronto and set his sights on a new challenge – taking on the world of commercial and hospitality real estate.
Over the last ten years, Ori has established a reputation for dedication, insight and professionalism that have made him a trusted advisor to some of the city’s top chefs and restauranteurs. His clients include tastemakers and trendsetter such as: Carl Heinrich, winner of Top Chef Canada and owner of Richmond Station; and Andrew Richmond, whose restaurant La Carnita helped revitalized Little Italy.
His uncanny ability to predict Toronto’s next hot neighbourhood, coupled with a wealth of knowledge about all things commercial real estate, from industry insight and investment potential to licencing and location, have earned him a reputation as the ‘go-to’ guy for anyone looking to open The Next Big Thing – not surprising, as many of his clients regular appear in the Top 10 lists of Toronto Life, NOW Magazine and BlogTO.
Ori is equally at home working industry veterans, but with his approachable demeanour and extensive experience, he’s the ideal advisor for the ‘green’ entrepreneur who needs direction on financing, renovations, municipal compliance and legal matters.
His desire to support Toronto’s growth as a cultural and culinary centre was one of his prime motivations to create the OMG Real Estate Team. In addition to being a co-founder, Ori is a licenced Broker and Certified Negotiation Expert.
